If you’ve got your goals dialed i
n, hitting the gas means starting your day. I find it helps to have a morning ritual that sets up the day and puts me firmly in my own driver’s seat.
I start with 6 items. Try it. Adjust it to what works for you, have fun and let me know what you think!
Start Organized
1) I start by making my bed. I put order into my own living area as a first action.
2) I get my head on straight. I go over the Chart of Attitudes that I want to exemplify.
3) I get my body being responsive by doing 5 to 10 reps of something, like push ups or sit ups. If you start your day at the gym, go for it!
4) I prepare of cup of tea or CalMag. Maybe you’re a Starbucks fan. Herb tea is my choice, generally Red Zinger. I squeeze a green smoothie for breakfast in here, too.
5) I sit down at my desk, push back and confront my area. Maybe something will jump out at me and I’ll dive into work quickly. Other times I take my time and the important things bubble up to the surface. I jot them down and when I feel “I’m here!”, I get rolling.
6) I review the Battle Plan and Formula I’m working on for the day and week.
Life happens, so I don’t get these done as written more than 40% of the time, but it provides stability and a good start.
